This presentation with Dr. Zaldy Tan will explore the risk factors that may increase your chances of developing dementia, including environmental and genetic factors. Dr. Zaldy Tan is the director of the Cedars-Sinai Health CARES Program and the medical director of the Jona Goldrich Center for Alzheimer & Memory Disorders in the Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurology. He performs health services and quality improvement research at Cedars-Sinai and epidemiological research at the Framingham Heart Study. At Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Tan currently performs memory evaluations and leads the CARES program, a collaborative care program to improve the care of patients with cognitive impairment. Dr. Tan has led multiple research studies on brain aging, preventive & risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease, and improving healthcare services for persons living with memory & other cognitive impairments.
