Introduction to Nihon Buyō: Japanese Classical Dance

Please join Bandō Ryū Kyō no Kai under the direction of Bandō Hirohichirō as we discover the wonderful world of Nihon Buyō, or Japanese Classical dance.  Hirohichirō will give a brief introduction to the history of Nihon Buyō followed by three virtual performances performed by members of Kyō no Kai.

Bandō Ryu Kyō no Kai was founded by Bandō Hirohichirō in 2007.  Since its founding, Kyō no Kai has been a leader in fostering better understanding of the Japanese culture in America through Japanese Classical dance. Kyō no Kai is grateful for the opportunity to share our love for Japanese dance with you today!
