LOS ANGELES – June 24, 2025 – Keiro is excited to announce that the eighth annual Keiro no Hi Festival will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi).

In honor of the Japanese holiday of Keiro no Hi, or Respect for the Aged Day, the festival will feature live entertainment with performances by local older adults, food, vendors, and much more. This year, we invite older adults and their loved ones to join the celebration together, which promises joy, entertainment, and meaningful connections.
“Every year, I eagerly anticipate the Keiro no Hi holiday and the significance it holds in honoring and uplifting those who have paved the way forward for us,” said Beverly Ito, president and CEO of Keiro. “We are thrilled to share all the exciting new activities planned for this year’s festival at Nishi, which are designed to celebrate the older adults in Our Community.”
Registration is required to attend. Admission is FREE for attendees aged 60 and over, and $20 for those aged 59 and under. For a $5 fee, attendees can register for a round-trip bus service to the festival from select locations across Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties. To register, please visit keiro.org/knh. Registration will open on Wednesday, July 9 and close when capacity is reached or by Friday, August 22.
