LOS ANGELES, January 25, 2022 – Keiro will host this year’s Caregiver Conference virtually in a three-part series in March 2022. For over 20 years, Keiro has offered Caregiver Conferences to support thousands of Japanese American and Japanese older adults and their caregivers to equip them with practical knowledge to enhance the quality of care their loved ones receive.
The Caregiver Conference will be held virtually through a series of three presentations throughout the month of March. Each session will feature a presentation with Q&A followed by a virtual resource fair, comprised of agencies and businesses focused on helping older adults. Opportunities to seek free professional consultation for caregivers will become available for attendees on a first-come, first-served basis after each session.
Session #1: Understanding Long-Term Care by Karl Kim, CFP, CLTC

Session #2: Navigating Challenging Conversations by Kanako Fukuyama, MSW & Andrea Strouth, MSW
Wednesday, March 16, 2022 | 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. PDT
Session #3: Stress Management for Caregivers by Nancy Clifton-Hawkins, MPH, MCHES
Saturday, March 26, 2022 | 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. PDT
“We are excited to continue our 20-year tradition of providing accessible resources to the thousands of caregivers in our community who provide countless hours of care for their aging loved ones,” shared Gene S. Kanamori, president and CEO of Keiro. “Building off the last two years of virtual conferences, we look forward to hosting sessions to share invaluable lessons to support caregivers.”
Complimentary mailed Caregiver Care Packages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is required, and care packages will be available while supplies last.
