Co-presented by Venice Japanese Community Center

Keiro offers valuable resources and education for caregivers who support older adults to age well at home and in the community. Since 2001, Keiro has offered nearly 20 caregiver conferences for thousands of Japanese American and Japanese older adults and their caregivers. This free conference provides new tools and practical resources for current and future caregivers through a series of seminars, a resource fair, professional consultations, health screenings and more. As we care for the older adults in our lives, Keiro believes it is crucial to ensure that caregivers are not only recognized, but properly equipped to confidently provide the quality of care our older adults deserve.

In light of the Stay At Home ordinance due to COVID-19, the 2020 Caregiver Conference, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 31 at the Venice Japanese Community Center, transitioned to an online virtual event. Registered attendees had the opportunity to access resources through the various interactive webinar presentations.
