About the Grants Program

Keiro’s new Grants Program will award support to qualified non-profit organizations and groups through a competitive, community-based review process with the goal of extending Keiro’s resources to serve the most vulnerable older adults in the Japanese American and Japanese community. The goals of Keiro’s new Grants Program are to:

  • Enhance the quality of life of older adults in Our Community who are most in-need or vulnerable
  • Promote culturally sensitive programs and services accessible to Japanese American and Japanese older adults
  • Strengthen systems of support for older adults through local service providers, programs, and caregiver resources
  • Advance Genki Living® holistic approach to aging issues

Applications and information about the 2017 Grants Program cycle will be available in May 2017.

We needed funding to expand our services to our older members and create opportunities for physical, mental, and social wellbeing. We thank Keiro for supporting our efforts to better serve our seniors and our community.
