Keiro is a mission-driven organization engaged in improving the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers in the Japanese American and Japanese community of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties.
What We Do

Classes
Keiro provides comprehensive programming such as classes and seminars both in person and virtually to meet the needs of their aging members.

Events
Keiro events and conferences throughout the year provide education, resources, tools, and other support for attendees.

Grants Program
Keiro provides funding to qualified nonprofit, community-based organizations that serve our constituents, supporting projects that reduces social isolation.

Iyashi Care
This culturally-sensitive palliative care program, presented in partnership with Providence, provides support to Japanese American and Japanese older adults with advanced illnesses, debilitating, and/or life-limiting symptoms.

Collaboration
Keiro advances its mission in innovative ways through collaborations and partnerships with community organizations, health care, and senior services organizations that share similar visions.

There are many ways to stay involved with Keiro. It takes a community to care for our older adults, and your support helps Keiro continue its mission by enabling us to provide programs and services to Japanese American older adults and their caregivers living in Southern California.
