Improve your physical and mental wellness with tested, proven programs in a small and lively classroom environment. Courses last four to eight weeks and are offered at various locations in our community. Challenge yourself today!

AARP Smart Driver

Course teaches proven safety strategies to maintain confidence behind the wheel.  For so many older adults, driving means independence. This refresher course highlights necessary skills for drivers as we age, how to adjust driving to compensate for age-related physical changes, helpful techniques and more.

Course is sponsored by AARP and meets twice for four hours. $15/$20 AARP fees waived by Keiro.

Chronic Disease Self-Management Program

Developed at Stanford University, this program is designed to help people with chronic health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure manage daily challenges for a happier, healthier life.

Course meets for 6 weeks, 2.5 hours per class, once a week.

Introduction to iPad

This course will teach you the basics of iPad iOS8 including connecting with friends and families, taking and editing photos, surfing the internet, and more.

Classes meet six consecutive weeks for two hours per session.

Developed at Stanford University, this program is designed to help people with diabetes manage their condition and live a happier, healthier life.

Course meets for 6 weeks, 2.5 hours per class, once a week.

Developed by Boston University and Maine Health, this program from Kaiser Permanente is designed to prevent falls and increase activity levels among older adults.

Course is sponsored by Kaiser Foundation and meets for 8 weeks, 2 hours per class, once a week.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is designed to benefit past, current, and/or future family caregivers for anyone with any conditions. The program may be presented in various locations throughout Los Angeles County.

Classes Meet six consecutive weeks for two and a half hours per session
